Elsbeth: ‘Before I started working here I was used to working in an environment dominated by males. But I must say that now, after 4 years of managing Lifetree, I don’t mind the female domination. Most of our customers are women and they are usually happy when they walk into our store. Happy to be pregnant or to have recently given birth. However, being pregnant and having kids also involves a lot of other emotions. Some people in our store are overwhelmed by sadness because things have gone differently than expected. We make time for all these cases and we try to assist people in any way we can. According to me this is the power of my store and it is what we want to show to the outside world, also through this website. We hope that the people who have questions, suggestions or comments about anything related to our store will inform us about them. With Lifetree Online we want to portray the same atmosphere as we do in our store and that’s why being in contact with our customers is indispensable.’

 

 

Karin: ‘I have been working for Lifetree for the past 15 years and I haven’t been bored for a second. I believe it is important that customers receive good advice and correct information, especially the novice fathers who walk into our store holding a little shopping list in their hands. Often they get the task of purchasing all kinds of products of which they don’t know what they are. We like to dedicate our time to them and give them extensive explanations.’
